  • 0.25CupMelted Ghee
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
  • 1Psc.eggs
  • 400Psc.Dates
  • 2Teaspoons (tsp)Maamoul spices
  • 1Cupwater

Steps

    The flour must be sifted before use. We mix the gluten-free flour with powdered sugar, milk powder, baking powder, and ka'ak spices in a bowl.

    We add the egg and the oil-ghee mixture, then knead the ingredients together

    We gradually add water while kneading until we get a soft and cohesive dough.

    We fill the dough with dates mixed with a teaspoon of ka'ak spices.

    We form the ka'ak as shown in the video

    We place the cookies on a baking tray and bake them in a moderately heated oven (around 180°C / 356°F) until golden.

    Once out of the oven, we let the cookies cool completely before serving.
