- 2CupMilk powder
- 2PinchSalt
- 1CupSugar
- 1Grams (g) Instant yeast
- 0.25CupOlive oil
- 2Cupwater
- 1PinchSesame
- 1PinchBlack Seeds
- 2Psc.Chopped Onion
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Sumac
- 1To TasteBlack pepper
- 1CupPomegranate molasses
- 1Psc.lemon
- 1PinchHot chilli powder
- 1BunchSpinach

Mix the flour with salt, sugar, powdered milk, yeast, black seeds, and sesame seeds. Then, gradually add water until a firm dough starts to form.

Knead the dough well for at least 5 minutes, then add the olive oil and continue kneading for an additional 5 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

Cover the dough and leave it to rise at room temperature.

For the filling, finely chop the onions and rub them with salt, pepper, and sumac. Then add spinach, olive oil, and lemon juice (optional). Let the filling sit in a strainer until ready to use.

Divide the dough into small balls and leave them to rest for at least 10 minutes. Then, start forming the pies by rolling the dough out very thinly, brush with a little olive oil, place a suitable amount of filling, and seal the dough. Press it down slightly.

Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown on both sides. Brush with original olive oil immediately after removing from the oven.
