Steps

    In a bowl, we put 4 cups of coarse semolina, then add 1 cup of flour, and 1/4 cup of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of yeast, and a pinch of salt. We mix the ingredients well, then add 1 cup of animal ghee, and blend them together

    Then we add lukewarm milk and knead as shown in the video. After that, we cover the dough and let it rest for half an hour.

    We begin preparing the filling: In a bowl, we put 2 cups of fine semolina, shredded coconut, and 1 cup of walnuts. Then we add cinnamon and sugar, 1/4 cup of syrup, and 1/2 cup of animal ghee, and we add milk gradually until the mixture comes together

    We take a baking dish and grease it with ghee, then we take half of the dough and spread it in the dish until we completely cover the bottom. After that, we place the filling on top of the dough and press it gently.

    In a baking dish of the same size as the first, we spread the second half of the dough and flip it over the filling in the first dish. Then we decorate it as shown in the video and let it rest for 10 minutes. After that, we place it in the preheated oven and leave it until the edges are golden brown, then we brown the top. Finally, we take it out and drizzle it with cold syrup as desired, and it is served."
