Ingredients

- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Baking soda
- 1To TasteVegetables
- 1CupLeafy vegetables
- 1To TasteFruits

Fill a deep bowl with cold or lukewarm water, then add a small amount of baking soda.

Soak the vegetables or fruits in the water for ten minutes.

Rinse the vegetables or fruits well with clean water.

Leave them in a colander for ten minutes to drain completely.

Dry them well using thick, clean kitchen paper towels instead of cloth towels.

Make sure the storage containers are washed, sterilized, free of food residue, and completely dry.

Line the inside of the container with a sheet of kitchen paper.

Place the dried vegetables or fruits in the container, seal it tightly, and put it in the fridge.

For leafy vegetables: wash them the same way with cold water and baking soda, then rinse them well.

Let the leafy vegetables dry, then wrap the stems in slightly damp kitchen paper towels and place them in the container inside the fridge.
