- 200Grams (g) Butter
- 7Cupwater
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Apricot jam
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 1PinchSalt
- 1Psc.Lemon zest

We preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

We start by mixing the dry ingredients together (flour, salt, sugar, and lemon zest).

We add the cold butter cubes and try to mix them with the dry ingredients using our fingers or with the help of a food mixer.

We start by gradually adding water until we achieve a cohesive dough.

We wrap the dough in plastic wrap and leave it in the fridge for half an hour.

We roll out two-thirds of the dough and line the base of a 22 cm mold.

Using a fork, we make holes in the dough.

We spread the entire amount of apricot jam over the dough and smooth it out across the whole pan.

Grate the remaining amount of dough over the apricot jam using a grater.

We bake it for 35-40 minutes or until the dough turns golden brown.
