Ingredients

  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil
  • 0.5PinchSalt
  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)White pepper
  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Smoked paprika
  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Garlic powder
  • 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Curry powder
  • 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Oregano

Steps

    Peel the potatoes carefully.

    Cut the potatoes into very thin slices using a sharp knife.

    Wash the potato slices in cold water several times to remove excess starch.

    Soak the slices in cold water for 10 minutes, then drain them well.

    Prepare a pot on the stove and pour in a generous amount of vegetable oil to heat.

    When the oil reaches a suitable high temperature for frying, fry the potato slices in batches to avoid overcrowding, turning them until golden brown and crispy.

    In a small bowl, mix the salt, white or black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, curry powder, and oregano.

    Once the potatoes are cooked and crispy, add the spice mixture immediately.
