- 0.25Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil
- 1Cupwater
- 1Psc.Aniseed grains
- 1PinchBlack Seeds
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cardamom powder
- 1Grams (g) Fennel

Place the ready-made cake mix in an electric mixer, add the eggs, oil, and water, and mix well until the batter is smooth.

Spray a small rectangular baking pan with cooking spray and line the base with parchment paper.

Pour the cake batter into the pan and sprinkle the sweet seeds (Fennel) on top.

Sprinkle anise seeds and black seeds (Nigella) over the batter, then add a little ground cardamom.

Bake the cake in the oven at 170°C (338°F) for 30 minutes from the bottom until fully cooked.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely before taking it out of the pan.

Cut the cooled cake into equal rectangular pieces.

Place the rectangles on a cooling rack for toasting.

Put the rectangles in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for 10 minutes from top and bottom until they turn golden.
