    Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under running water to remove bitterness

    Bring the cup of water to a boil in a pot and add a pinch of salt.

    Add the quinoa to the boiling water, reduce the heat, cover the pot, and let it cook until the water is fully absorbed.

    Remove the pot from the heat and let the quinoa cool at room temperature.

    Dice the apples, chop the green onions and parsley, and prepare the pomegranate seeds and toasted pumpkin seeds.

    In a large bowl, combine the cooled quinoa, apples, parsley, green onions, pomegranate seeds, and pumpkin seeds.
