Marinate 1 kg chicken breast (cut into cubes) with 4 mashed garlic cloves, ¼ cup olive oil, ½ teaspoon salt, black pepper, and 3 tablespoons sumac, then let it chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

In a Pyrex dish, arrange 6 onions (cut into wedges) and add ¼ cup olive oil, 4 tablespoons sumac, and ½ teaspoon salt; massage the onions with the sumac until the flavors blend.

Skewer the marinated chicken onto skewers and place them over the onions in the dish.

Cover the dish and bake in the oven at 200°C for 35 minutes.

For serving, spread Tanour bread on a plate, top it with the cooked onions, then add the chicken skewers and sprinkle with pine nuts.

Prepare the white sauce by mixing 4 tablespoons of strained yogurt with 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing, and serve it alongside the dish.
