One-Pot Chicken and Rice

- 3ClovesMinced garlic
- 500Kilograms (kg)Chicken Breast
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Curry powder
- 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Paprika
- 0.5PinchSeven spices
- 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Cinnamon
- 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Turmeric powder
- 1PinchSalt
- 1CupPea
- 1Psc.Carrot
- 1CanCorn
- 2CupRice
- 1Cupwater
Steps

Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until it softens.

Add the crushed garlic and stir until fragrant.

Add the chicken cubes and stir until their color changes.

Add the spices — curry, paprika, seven spices, cinnamon, turmeric, and salt — and mix well to coat the chicken.

Add the vegetables: peas, carrots, and corn, and stir everything together.

Cover the ingredients with water, cover the pot, and let it cook over medium heat until the chicken and vegetables are tender

Add the washed and soaked rice (soaked for half an hour) to the pot, then cover it with water until it’s about 1 cm above the rice.

Adjust the salt to taste, bring the pot to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover.

Let the rice cook until fully done

Remove the pot from the heat and let it rest, covered, for 5 minutes.

Fluff the rice gently before serving and serve it hot.
