We boil the chicken with spices for boiling, including dried lime, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, onion, salt, and pepper.

Once it's cooked, in a pot over heat, add a little vegetable oil and sauté the crushed garlic and coriander for two minutes.

We add the boiled chicken back in and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.

We add the drained chicken broth to fill about ¾ of the pot and then add lemon juice.

Cover the pot and let them boil. After boiling, add the molokhia with salt and let it cook on low heat until done.

It is served with rice with vermicelli. The secret to enhancing its flavor is using half the amount of water needed for cooking the rice from the cooked molokhia broth. For example, if you need 2 cups of water for the rice, use 1 cup of the cooked molokhia broth and 1 cup of hot water. It is served with chopped onion sauce, apple cider vinegar, and toasted bread.
