  • 250Grams (g) Butter
  • 100CupPowdered sugar
  • 1Psc.Egg whites
  • 300CupFlour
  • 100Tablespoons (tbsp)Chopped pecans
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla

    In a bowl, add the butter and sugar, and mix for about two minutes using a hand mixer until the mixture is light and smooth.

    Add the egg white and whisk until it's fully incorporated into the mixture (at first, it may seem lumpy, but continue whisking).

    Add the vanilla extract, flour, and finely chopped pecans. Mix gently until the dough forms. Stop mixing once it all comes together.

    Be careful not to over-mix to ensure the ma'amoul stays soft and delicate.

    Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.

    Shape the dough into equal-sized balls, weighing about 20 grams each.

    Preheat the oven to 170°C (top and bottom heat with fan). Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.

    After they cool, dust with powdered sugar and serve.
