- 200Grams (g) Butter
- 6Tablespoons (tbsp)Cream cheese
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 1PacketDates paste
- 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Cinnamon
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Ghee

In a bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, ¼ cup of powdered sugar, and a pinch of vanilla or mahlab (optional).

Add 200 grams of room-temperature butter and 6 pieces of cream cheese to the dry ingredients, then knead by hand until you get a soft, cohesive dough.

Prepare the filling by mixing the ground dates with ½ teaspoon of cinnamon or cardamom and 1 teaspoon of butter or ghee. Knead until smooth and easy to shape.

Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.

Stuff each ball with an appropriate amount of the date filling, then seal well.

Dip the stuffed dough balls in flour to prevent sticking in the mold.

Press each ball into a maamoul mold to shape it, then gently remove and place on a baking tray.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

Bake the maamoul on the middle rack with heat from both top and bottom until lightly golden

Let the maamoul cool completely before serving.
