Ingredients
- 500Kilograms (kg)Beef cubes
- 1Psc.Onion
- 1PinchSalt
- 1To TasteBlack pepper
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Meat spices
- 1.5Liters (L)Hot water
- 2Psc.Bay Leaf
- 1CupFlour
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Ghee
- 1CupOil

Put a tablespoon of ghee in a pot over the heat until it melts.

Add the beef to the hot ghee and sear it well on both sides until browned.

Season the beef with salt and black pepper.

Once browned, remove the beef and set it aside on a plate.

In the same pot, add the chopped onion and the oil, then sauté until it softens slightly.

When the onion changes color, add the flour and stir well.

Return the beef to the pot and mix with the onion and flour.

Add the meat spices and stir well.

Pour in the hot water until it slightly covers the beef.

Add the bay leaves and cover the pot tightly.

Reduce the heat to low and let the beef cook slowly for 1½ to 2 hours until it becomes tender and soft.

Place the fried potatoes on a serving plate, spoon the beef and sauce over them, and serve hot.
