Ingredients
- 2CupFava beans
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Tahini
- 1CupYogurt
- 2Psc.lemon
- 2ClovesMinced garlic
- 0.5PinchSalt
- 2CupMinced parsley
- 1PacketPomegranate
- 0.5CupOlive oil
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cumin
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Crushed red pepper
Steps

We rinse the two cans of fava beans thoroughly to reduce the saltiness.

We place the beans in a pot and add enough water to cover them.

We bring the pot to a boil over medium heat.

In a glass bowl, we add one cup of tahini and one cup of yogurt, then whisk them until smooth and well combined.

We add the juice of two lemons and continue mixing.

We press or mince two cloves of garlic and add them to the mixture.

We add half a teaspoon of salt and stir everything well.

If the mixture is too thick, we add a little water gradually to reach a good consistency.

Once the beans are boiled, we strain them and discard the liquid.

We add the beans to the tahini-yogurt mixture and stir until well coated.

We pour the mixture into a serving plate.

We garnish with chopped parsley and place some pomegranate seeds in the center.

We drizzle plenty of olive oil in a circular motion on top.

We sprinkle cumin and red pepper over the dish.

We serve the dish alongside fresh bread and assorted appetizers like pickles or olives.
