Ingredients

  • 0.5CupAlmonds
  • 0.25Tablespoons (tbsp)Unsweetened cocoa
  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Cinnamon
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 0.3CupCoconut Oil
  • 0.3CupHoney
  • 0.5CupChocolate Chips
  • 2CupWhole grain oats
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla

    Coarsely chop the almonds

    Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

    In a large bowl, mix the oats with the chopped almonds, cocoa, cinnamon, and salt.

    In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the coconut oil with the honey until well combined, then add the vanilla.

    Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well coated

    Spread the mixture evenly on the tray.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 19 to 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through.

    Once completely cooled, add the chocolate pieces and stir gently.

    Store the granola in an airtight jar at room temperature.
