Ingredients

  • 3Kilograms (kg)Sweet potato
  • 1Cupwater
  • 2CupSugar
  • 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Cream
  • 1To TasteCrushed pistachios

Steps

    Wash the sweet potato well and place it in a pot.

    Add one cup of water to the pot with the sweet potato.

    Cover the pot and cook over low heat until the sweet potato is fully cooked and the water evaporates.

    Once the water has evaporated, add 2 to 3 tablespoons of sugar over the sweet potato.

    Cover the pot again and cook for 2 minutes, until the sugar caramelizes.

    Remove the sweet potato and slice it open down the middle.

    Add cream into the opened sweet potato.

    Sprinkle the caramelized sugar over the cream and the sweet potato.

    Garnish with pistachios or any preferred nuts.
