Ingredients

  • 2CupFlour
  • 0.3Teaspoons (tsp)Ghee
  • 0.3Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil
  • 0.5PinchSalt
  • 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Baking soda
  • 1PinchBlack Seeds
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Roasted sesame
  • 6PacketKiri cheese

Steps

    Mix all the ingredients and knead well.

    Gradually add water (about 1/3 cup) depending on the type of flour until the dough becomes soft and firm.

    Let the dough rest for a while (or start immediately), then cut and shape it as desired.

    Place the pieces on parchment paper in a baking tray.

    Brush the top with a beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds, sumac, nigella seeds, or thyme as preferred.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C, first from the bottom until golden, then from the top.

    Note: Do not add too much water so that the citrus does not lose its crunch. The white cheese used should be a soft white cheese such as akawi or kiri Serve with tea
