  • 4Tablespoons (tbsp)Pesto sauce
  • 2CupFeta cheese

Steps

    Mix cream cheese with sautéed mushrooms, garlic powder, and black pepper.

    Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.

    prick the center with a fork to vent steam.

    Spread the cheese–mushroom mixture in the center of the pastry.

    Add the tomatoes, dates, pesto paste, crumbled feta cheese, a sprinkle of black pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.

    Brush the edges of the pastry with the egg–vinegar wash.

    Sprinkle sesame seeds and black cumin on top.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 250 °C (480 °F) until golden and puffed.

    Remove from oven and drizzle with balsamic sauce before serving.
