Ingredients

- 1CupEgyptian rice
- 4CupMilk
- 1CupSugar
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Cream
- 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Starch

In a pot, add 1 liter of hot water and 1 cup of washed Egyptian rice (without soaking). Cook until the rice is completely soft.

Strain the rice and let it sit in the strainer for 10 minutes to remove excess water.

Return the rice to an empty pot, gradually add 4 cups of milk, and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.

Add sugar and cream, stirring well until the sugar completely dissolves.

Dissolve the starch in ¼ cup of milk, then add it to the mixture while continuously stirring on low heat until it thickens.

Pour the mixture into serving cups, garnish as desired, and refrigerate until it sets before serving.
