  • 1CupSugar
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
  • 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Ground mastic
  • 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Blossom water
  • 1CupRice
  • 2Cupwater

Steps

    Wash the rice well, then place it in a pot with water and cook on low heat until fully done.

    In another pot, heat the milk until warm, then add the sugar, cream, vanilla, and mastic. Stir well to combine.

    Once the rice is cooked, add it to the milk mixture and stir continuously. Leave it on low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.

    Turn off the heat and add the orange blossom water, then pour the mixture into serving cups.

    Let the cups cool at room temperature, then place them in the fridge to chill completely.

    Garnish with pistachios or your preferred topping, and serve.
