Steps

    Wash and clean the fresh za'atar thoroughly.

    Spread the za'atar on a large surface to dry for a few days.

    Once dried, grind the za'atar using a wooden pestle

    Sift the ground za'atar to remove any large pieces

    Add one large spoon of olive oil to the ground za'atar.

    Add the sumac to the mixture.

    Roast the sesame seeds in a pan.

  8. 8

    Add the roasted sesame seeds to the za'atar mixture.

  9. 9

    Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
