Steps
- 1
Place the ground beef and ground lamb in a large mixing bowl.
- 2
Add salt, black pepper, paprika, dried parsley, and meat seasoning to the meat.
- 3
Add the chopped onions, fresh parsley, and chopped mint to the meat mixture.
- 4
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until well combined and the meat is fully seasoned.
- 5
Take a small amount of the meat mixture, shape it into small equal-sized balls, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 6
Sprinkle flour on the work surface, make a well in the center, crack the egg into it, and whisk it with a fork while gradually mixing in some flour.
- 7
Gradually add water to the flour and egg mixture, stirring continuously until a firm dough forms.
- 8
Knead the dough well by hand for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and non-sticky, then cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- 9
Divide the dough into small portions and roll each through a pasta machine to make thin sheets, then cut them into small, even squares.
- 10
Place a small meat ball in the center of each dough square, then fold and seal the edges tightly to form manti pieces.
- 11
Drop the manti into a pot of boiling water and cook until they float to the surface and are fully cooked, then drain them.
- 12
Melt the butter in a small frying pan and add a teaspoon of paprika and a tablespoon of red pepper paste. Place the manti in a serving dish, pour over the Greek yogurt and hot butter mixture, and serve hot.
