  • 1CupCold Milk
  • 10Tablespoons (tbsp)Starch
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Mastic
  • 4CupSugar
  • 2CupCold water

Steps

    Place 2 liters of milk in a pot over heat, reserving 1 cup cold milk aside.

    Dissolve 10 tbsp of cornstarch in the cold milk until fully dissolved.

    Once the milk boils, gradually add the starch mixture while stirring.

    Add 1 tsp ground mastic and a little sugar, stir for 5 minutes.

    Pour the mixture into a tray and let it cool completely.

    Once cool, add 2 cups of ice-cold water and refrigerate.

    Mix 2 cups cold milk with 4 tbsp sugar until sugar dissolves.
