Ingredients

  • 4PinchFenugreek
  • 3Teaspoons (tsp)Turmeric powder
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Curry powder
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Citric acid
  • 1.5Liters (L)Hot water

Steps

    Place the ground fenugreek in a glass bowl.

    Add the turmeric, curry powder, and salt.

    Add the citric acid (Lemdozi).

    If you prefer it spicy, add the chili powder.

    Mix all the dry ingredients well until evenly combined.

    Store the dry mix in an airtight container on the counter until needed.

    When using, take two tablespoons of the anba mixture and place it in a plastic container.

    Add hot water and stir well.

    Cover the bowl and let it rest for 1 hour so the fenugreek absorbs the water and thickens.

    After one hour, add a bit more water and stir until the consistency becomes runny.

    Blend the mixture with a hand blender until smooth and creamy.

    Store the prepared Anba in a sterilized container in the refrigerator.
