  • 0.25Tablespoons (tbsp)Turmeric
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Tomato paste
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Chicken Stock Powder
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 1CupMinced parsley
  • 1Psc.lemon

Steps

    Cook the cracked lentils in 1 liter of water until they are tender.

    We make balls of kofta (mixed with onion, parsley, spices, and salt) and then brown them in a little butter and olive oil.

    Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, dried coriander, turmeric, and black pepper, and sauté for a bit.

    Add the tomato paste, chicken broth cube, and salt.

    When the lentils are ready, add them to the kofta balls, add more water and simmer for 5 minutes

    Served with parsley and a squeeze of lemon
