Ingredients

  • 6CupFull cream milk

  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Blossom water
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Rose water
  • 4Tablespoons (tbsp)Cream
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Pistachio
  • 1To TasteSyrup

Steps

    In a thick-bottomed pot, combine the milk, semolina, sugar, ground mastic, and egg. Mix thoroughly while cold until the ingredients are well combined.

    Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it begins to boil.

    Keep stirring until the mixture thickens.

    Add the orange blossom water, rose water, and Arabic cream (ashta), and stir until everything is well incorporated.

    Pour the mixture into a serving dish, let it cool slightly, then refrigerate until fully chilled.

    When serving, spread extra cream on top, garnish with pistachios, and serve with sugar syrup (sharbat) or honey.
