- 2CupFull cream milk
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 2CupSugar
- 3Tablespoons (tbsp)Cocoa powder
- 60Grams (g) Dark chocolate
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Starch
- 1CupCold Milk

Heat the milk over very low heat in a small pot.

Add the vanilla and sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves—make sure the milk doesn’t boil.

Add the cocoa powder and dark chocolate, and continue stirring until the chocolate is completely melted (about 4 minutes).

Dissolve the cornstarch in a teaspoon of cold milk, then add the mixture to the pot.

Stir for an 2 more minutes until the milk thickens and becomes creamy

Serve the hot chocolate warm, and optionally top with whipped cream or marshmallows.
