Steps

    Peel and cut the potatoes into medium-sized cubes.

    Parboil the potatoes for about 10 minutes, then drain them well.

    Deep fry the potatoes without stirring until golden and crispy.

    In a separate pan, heat the vegetable oil with butter (or use olive oil only).
