Ingredients

  • 1Psc.Puff pastry dough
  • 1Grams (g) Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25Tablespoons (tbsp)Thyme Powder
  • 1PinchMaldon Sea Salt
  • 1Psc.eggs

Steps

    Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

    Cut the store-bought pastry in half using a sharp knife.

    Grate Parmesan cheese and spread it evenly over one half of the pastry.

    Place the other half of the pastry on top, pressing gently to seal.

    Brush the top with egg wash to give a golden finish.

    Sprinkle Zaatar powder evenly over the surface.

    Cut the layered pastry into strips about 2 cm wide.

    Twist each strip gently to create a spiral shape.

    Brush the twisted strips again with egg wash.

    Sprinkle Maldon salt lightly over the top.

    Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
