  • 500Milliliters (mL)Cooking Cream
  • 150CanCheddar

  • 1Grams (g) Butter
  • 1To TasteRoasted toast

Steps

    Peel and grate the carrots. Finely chop the onion and broccoli.

    In a pot, add olive oil and butter. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until softened. Add the grated carrots and chopped broccoli and sauté them together.

    Add 2 tablespoons of flour, salt, and pepper, and stir well. Add the chicken broth and cream, and bring the mixture to a boil.

    Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes until it thickens. Add the grated cheese and stir until the cheese melts.

    Turn off the heat and serve the soup with toasted bread.
