Ingredients

  • 0.5Psc.Carrot
  • 2Psc.Green chili pepper
  • 1Psc.Red chili pepper
  • 1ClovesMinced garlic
  • 2CupOlive oil
  • 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Coarse salt
  • 4Cupwater

Steps

    Chop the carrots into very small pieces or grate them finely.

    Add the green hot peppers, red hot pepper, garlic, and olive oil to the carrots.

    Mix all the ingredients well until fully combined.

    Place the carrots into a sterilized glass jar.

    To prepare the brine, dissolve the coarse salt in the water thoroughly.

    Pour the brine over the carrots until fully covered.

    Add a little olive oil on top of the pickle to prevent spoilage.

    Seal the jar tightly and leave it on the counter for five days until the carrots ferment and are ready.

    Serve the pickle with labneh as a delicious side dish.
