Steps

    Soak the fava beans in water overnight.

    Discard floating beans, then boil for 4–5 hours until fully cooked.

    Mash garlic and mix it with salt and lemon juice.

    Add hot beans to the garlic mix and mash together.

    Add cumin and mix well.

    Add the chopped vegetables to the bean mix.

    Pour in olive oil and tahini, and stir until fully combined.
