Ingredients

- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Ground Coriander
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cumin
- 1PinchSalt
- 1To TasteBlack pepper
- 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Turmeric powder
- 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Sumac
- 2CupPomegranate molasses
- 1Psc.lemon
- 2CupOlive oil

We cut the chicken into four pieces after washing and cleaning it well.

We slice the onions into thin strips.

We preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

In a baking tray, we place the sliced onions.

We add the coriander, cumin, salt, black pepper, a pinch of turmeric, sumac, pomegranate molasses, lemon juice, and olive oil to the onions, then mix everything well.

We add the chicken pieces to the tray and mix them thoroughly with the marinade until fully coated.

We cover the tray with aluminum foil and place it on the lower rack of the oven for 45 minutes.

After the time has passed, we remove the foil and move the tray to the top rack to allow the chicken to brown for 20 minutes.
