Ingredients

  • 2CupFine bulgur
  • 1.5Liters (L)Hot water
  • 0.5CupOlive oil
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Pepper paste
  • 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Tomato paste
  • 0.5CupPomegranate molasses
  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Cumin
  • 1Psc.Chopped Onion
  • 0.25PinchSalt
  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Crushed red pepper

Steps

    Place the bulgur in a bowl, then add the hot water, and stir for 2-3 minutes until the water is evenly distributed.

    Cover the bowl and let it sit for 15 minutes.

    Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the chopped onion

    Add tomato paste and red pepper paste, and stir.

    Cook the mixture for 2-3 minutes, then remove the pan from the heat.

    Add the mixture to the bulgur.

    Add pomegranate molasses, olive oil, cumin, red pepper, and salt.

    Knead the mixture well for at least 10 minutes.

    Shape the kibbeh into small balls and place them on a serving dish
