Ingredients

  • 3CupWarm water
  • 0.5CupSemolina
  • 2CupSugar
  • 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Starch
  • 2CupMilk powder
  • 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Blossom water
  • 0.25PinchSalt

Steps

    Put the warm water, flour, semolina, powdered milk, baking powder, baking soda, starch, sugar, vanilla, blossom water, and a pinch of salt in a blender

    Mix them well until you get a smooth, lump-free mixture.

    Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes.

    We heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat

    Pour an appropriate amount of batter using a pastry bag or ladle to make a circle of the desired size.

    When bubbles appear on the surface of the katayf and the top is dry, remove it without turning it over

    Place it directly on a clean towel and cover it so it retains its softness.

    Once the entire batch is finished, fill the katayef with chocolate, pistachio, cream, or custard to taste.
