We peel the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized cubes.

We place the potatoes in a pot with cold water and a pinch of salt, and boil them until tender.

In a pan, we heat some vegetable oil.

We add the chopped onion and sauté until soft.

We add the minced garlic and stir briefly.

We add the ground meat to the onion and garlic and cook until its color changes.

We season the meat with mixed spices, garlic powder, cinnamon, black pepper, and salt.

We continue cooking the meat, stirring, until fully cooked.

Once the potatoes are boiled, we drain them while still hot.

Add the butter, mixed spices, garlic powder, salt, pepper, milk, and egg to the potatoes, then mash until smooth.

In a baking dish, we spread half of the mashed potatoes as the first layer.

We distribute the cooked ground meat over the potato layer.

We spread the remaining mashed potatoes as the final layer, smoothing it out.

We sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

We place the dish in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F), baking from the bottom first, then broiling the top until the cheese melts and turns golden.
