Ingredients

  • 0.25CupPowdered sugar
  • 1.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Orange blossom water
  • 1.5CupFlour
  • 2Cupwater
  • 1PacketPhyllo dough
  • 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Cream
  • 1To TasteSyrup

Steps

    Add pistachios, icing sugar, and orange blossom water to a food processor and blend.

    In a small bowl, mix flour with water until smooth.

    Roll the phyllo stripes around metal tubes.

    Seal the edge using the flour-water paste.

    Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).

    Fry the rolls until golden and crisp.

    Press pistachio mix into rectangular molds.

    Pipe the cream into the hollow fried rolls.

    Dip both ends of the rolls into crushed pistachio.

    Place rolls over the pistachio rectangles.

    Add a dollop of cream and orange blossom jam on top.
