Wash the figs thoroughly, then cut each fig in half.

The next day, transfer the figs along with the syrup they released into a pot over medium heat.

When the mixture starts boiling, skim off the white foam that forms on the surface.

Add the anise seeds, toasted sesame seeds, and chopped walnuts, then let the jam simmer on low heat for 30 minutes until it thickens.
