  • 0.5Grams (g) Instant yeast
  • 1.5CupSugar
  • 0.25PinchSalt
  • 2.5CupOlive oil
  • 0.5CupWarm water
  • 1CupCheese
  • 0.5PinchThyme

Steps

    In a bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

    Add olive oil and warm water; mix to form a shaggy dough.

    Knead by hand for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

    Cover with cling film and let rest for 30 minutes.

    Knead briefly again, divide into 2 pieces, shape each into a ball, cover, and rest 5 more minutes.

    Flatten each ball into a round; dock with a fork.

    Preheat air fryer to 205 °C (bake mode) for 5 minutes.

    Place one dough round in the air fryer; bake 5 minutes.

    Remove and top with cheese; return to air fryer at 205 °C for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.

    Repeat with second round: top with zaatar and a drizzle of olive oil; bake 2–3 minutes.
