Marble Cake
Ingredients
- 2Tablespoons (tbsp)All-purpose flour
- 0.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Corn Starch
- 2.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
- 0.5PinchSalt
- 150Grams (g) Butter
- 50Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil
- 1.5CupSugar
- 4Psc.eggs
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Liquid vanilla
- 0.5CupFull cream milk
- 0.5CupYogurt
- 0.25Tablespoons (tbsp)Cocoa powder
- 3Liters (L)Hot water

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease the baking pan with butter, then lightly dust with flour.

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt, then set aside.

In a large bowl, beat the butter with oil and sugar until light and fluffy

Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition, then add the vanilla. If the mixture begins to separate, add one tablespoon of the dry mixture.

Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk-yogurt mixture (you can mix the milk and yogurt beforehand)

Beat until just combined. Do not overmix.

To prepare the chocolate mixture, mix the cocoa with hot water in a small bowl until smooth

Take about one-third of the cake batter and mix it with the cocoa mixture until combined.

Pour half of the white batter into the pan, then spread the chocolate mixture on top randomly

Add the remaining white batter. Use a knife to gently swirl through the batter to create a marble effect

Bake the cake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center

Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
