Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes before starting to bake the maamoul.

Mix the flour, mahaleb, and ghee well in the mixer until you achieve the desired consistency, as shown in the video.

Place the dough in the fridge to allow the ghee to solidify. During this time, prepare the filling

For the filling: Mix the date paste with butter, cinnamon, and cake spice, then shape it into small balls

After the dough rests, remove it from the fridge, then add the sweetened condensed milk and orange blossom water.

Knead the dough again until you reach the desired texture, as shown in the video.

Divide the dough into 30g balls.

Stuff each dough ball with a date ball, then seal it into a round shape.

Press the balls with molds or your hands to create the traditional shape.

Place the maamoul on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the maamoul in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 12 minutes or until golden on the bottom.
