Boiled Egg Dip
Ingredients

- 3Tablespoons (tbsp)Mayonnaise
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Mustard
- 2Teaspoons (tsp)Dried Thymus
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Paprika
- 2CupOlive oil
- 1PinchSalt

- 1Psc.Red onion

We place 4 eggs in a small pot, then add enough water to fully cover them.

We bring the pot to a boil and let the eggs cook for 10 minutes until fully hard-boiled.

We immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl filled with ice water to stop the cooking and make peeling easier.

We peel the boiled eggs gently, then separate the yolks from the whites

We place the egg yolks in a mixing bowl and chop the egg whites into small pieces using a knife.

We slice a red onion very thinly using a cutting board and knife.

We add 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon of mustard to the egg yolks

We also add 1 teaspoon of paprika, 2 teaspoons of dried zaatar, and a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste.

We add a small amount of olive oil (about a teaspoon or more) to give the mixture a smooth texture and shine.

We mash the ingredients together with a fork until the yolks become creamy and well mixed.

We add the chopped egg whites to the yolk mixture and continue mixing until fully combined.

We transfer the dip into a serving dish and spread it out evenly.

We garnish the top with thin slices of red onion, a sprinkle of zaatar, and a few fresh mint leaves.

We serve the dip with toasted bread or fresh vegetables such as cucumber or carrot sticks, as desired.
