Steps

    We place ½ cup of washed Egyptian rice in a pot, add 750 ml of hot water, and cook it for 30 minutes.

    Once the water has evaporated, we add 1 liter of milk and ½ cup of sugar, and cook the mixture for 15 minutes.

    We mix one can of "Qaymer" with 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, then add this mixture to the rice and cook until thickened, and finally let it cool.

    We boil one can of red berries with ½ cup of water and ¼ cup of sugar for 5 minutes, then mash it.

    In a serving dish, we layer the milk rice, then the cake, followed by the berries, and the berry sauce; we repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.

    We place the dish in the refrigerator to chill for at least 3 hours (preferably prepared a day in advance).
