Ingredients

  • 0.5CupCoarse semolina
  • 4Cupwater
  • 1CupSugar
  • 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Blossom water
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cinnamon
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Ghee
  • 1Grams (g) Butter

Steps

    Add the water to a pot to prepare the syrup.

    Add the sugar and stir until fully dissolved.

    In a separate pan, melt the ghee.

    Add the coarse semolina and start roasting.

    Slowly add the roasted semolina to the syrup.

    Add cinnamon and mix well.

    Cover the pot and let it rest for 5 minitues.

    Remove from heat and add the butter. Add orange blossom water and stir again.

    Garnish with extra cinnamon, ashta, and pistachios.

    Serve hot with mushallaleh cheese on the side.
