Ingredients

- 1PinchSalt
- 2Teaspoons (tsp)Paprika
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)White pepper
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Garlic powder
- 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Turmeric powder
- 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Oregano
- 1Cupwater
- 2.5CupFlour

Cut the chicken breasts into small, bite-sized pieces suitable for frying.

Add salt and paprika to the chicken pieces and mix well.

Add white pepper, garlic powder, a pinch of turmeric, and oregano, then mix thoroughly.

Pour 1 cup of water over the chicken and mix well to distribute the spices evenly.

Cover the chicken and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

In a separate bowl, mix the same spices (except paprika) with a generous amount of flour.

Prepare a bowl of cold water for dipping.

Take a portion of the chicken and drain excess liquid.

Coat the chicken in the flour mixture, tossing 5–6 times to ensure full coverage.

Shake off excess flour and dip the chicken in cold water.

Return the chicken to the flour and toss 5–6 more times to create a good crispy layer.

Shake off the excess flour and place the chicken in hot, deep oil.
