    We boil the cowpeas until they are tender.

    We place the boiled red beans along with their cooking water in a pot over heat.

    We add the washed rice to the pot and keep it over high heat until the water begins to evaporate.

    In another pan, we heat the oil, add the chopped onion, and stir continuously until golden brown.

    After the onions are fried, we add them to the rice and gently mix everything together.
