Soak the bulgur in hot water for 10 minutes. Grind the bulgur with the beef and onion until you get a smooth dough.

Add salt, pepper, cardamom, seven spice, dried mint, and lemon zest. Mix all ingredients together until well combined.

For the filling, sauté the chopped onion with the minced meat until cooked. Add walnuts, pomegranate, pomegranate molasses, salt, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, and seven spice.

In a baking dish, spread half of the kibbeh dough evenly. Spread the filling over the dough and cover with the remaining half of the dough.

Cut the kibbeh into squares or triangles. Drizzle the ghee and olive oil mixture on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 380°F/190°C for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
