    We add a good amount of olive oil to a pan.

    We chop 2 onions finely and add them to the hot oil.

    We crush 6 cloves of garlic and add them to the pan with the onions.

    We add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and mix well with the onions and garlic

    We add 3 finely chopped tomatoes to the mixture and stir.

    We add hot chili, chopped cilantro, black pepper, cumin, sugar, and salt to taste

    We add water as needed until the mixture has a suitable sauce consistency.
