السلطة الغزّاوية (السلطة الفلسطينية التقليدية)

Cut the tomatoes and cucumbers into small cubes

نقوم بتقطيع الطماطم والخيار إلي مكعبات صغيرة

Place the green chili peppers and salt in a bowl and begin to pound them well until the peppers soften and mix with the salt.

نقوم بوضع الفلفل الأخضر الحار مع الملح في وعاء "زبدية" ونبدأ بدقهما جيدًا حتى يلين الفلفل ويختلط بالملح.

Add the chopped cucumber and crush it just a little to release some of the liquid and blend with the flavors.

نضيف الخيار المفروم ونقوم بدقه قليلًا فقط ليُخرج بعض السوائل ويختلط بالنكهات.

Add the dill, parsley, and green mint, and pulse until the ingredients are well combined and have a slightly coarse texture.

نضيف الشبت والبقدونس والنعناع الأخضر، ونقوم بدق المكونات جيدًا حتى تتجانس وتتحول لقوام خشن قليلًا.

Add the chopped tomatoes at the end, and pulse again to combine with the previous vegetables.

نضيف الطماطم المفرومة في النهاية، وندق مرة أخرى حتى تمتزج بالخضار السابقة.

Then add the tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil, and continue pounding and stirring until you have a thick salad consistency.

بعد ذلك نضيف الطحينة، وعصير الليمون، وزيت الزيتون، ونُكمل الدق والتحريك جيدًا حتى نحصل على سلطة كثيفة القوام.

Serve immediately in the same bowl, eaten with a spoon or with fresh pita bread.

نقدّمها مباشرة في نفس الوعاء، وتُؤكل بالمعلقة أو بالخبز العربي الطازج.
